Since the foundation of our laboratory in 1997, several researchers have been joined to our team either as PhD students or staff member. This is a selected list.

Péter Fazekas

He was the head of our laboratory between 2015 and 2018. Currently works at Nokia Bell Labs.

Zoltán Jakó

He defended his PhD thesis in 2017 with title “Performance improvement of differential chaos shift keying modulation scheme”.

Ádám Knapp

He defended his PhD thesis in February 2020 (a few days before the first COVID-19 lockdown) with title “Channel Equalization and Mobility Management Methods in New Generation Mobile Communication Systems”

Albert Mráz

He defended his PhD thesis in 2012 with title “Modeling and radio resource management of advanced wireless networks”. He spent a few years as staff members, currently works at Magyar Telekom.

Vilmos Simon

He defended his PhD thesis in 2008 with title “Mobility management algorithms for reducing signaling overhead in next generation mobile networks”. Currently, he is the head of MEDIANETS Laboratory at our department as well as deputy head of department.

Árpád Huszák

He defended his PhD thesis in 2010 with title “New methods for improving multimedia quality in IP networks”. Currently, he is associate professor.

László Bokor

He defended his PhD thesis in 2014 with title “Advanced Schemes for Emerging Mobility Scenarios in the All-IP World”. Currently, he is associate professor.

Gábor Jeney

He defended his PhD thesis in 2005 with title “Recurrent neural network based multi-user detection”.
