Nowadays internet is the largest source of information. But there are more and more people who want to get these informations not only sitting in front of their computers, but also using their mobile equipments. That's why WEB2WAP workgroup has been founded in February 2002 at the University of Technology and Economics in Budapest (BME).
In the beginning we make softwares to convert complicated HTML documents to a simplier HTML format, then convert these simple HTML documents to WML format (WAP) and also convert any kind of images to WBMP format.
WAP is today's most popular mobile internet solution, but other solutions will come. That's why we must keep a close eye on other mobile equipments, e.g. palms, pocket PCs and PDAs.
